The KLS Helical Coil Separator, one of Mueller’s many patented designs, offers efficient contamination control despite requiring little in the way of operating and maintenance costs. Rather than subject users to the endless replacement part cycle typical of other high efficiency separation techniques, the KLS separator eschews both filter and coalescing elements. This design choice immediately eliminates the time and money associated with acquiring, maintaining, and disposing of filters. Furthermore, operators will not need to concern themselves with repeated outages or the need to frequently vent gas.

Despite these advantages, the KLS Helical Coil Separator remains an effective tool with which to remove a wide range of contaminants, including lube oil, glycol, various salts, black powder, and natural gas liquids (NGL), to name just a few.
